Art Incarcerated

Maximum security prison inmates photographed on a recent assignment to photograph "gang" tattoos. I was not allowed to show their faces. Participation was voluntary and the men were cooperative and pleasant for the most part. But I got a really bad vibe from 100% Honkey, the white supremest. I shot three frames and told him "thank you. I'm done." I wasn't trying to be judgemental, just didn't feel the love.

Burnt Transparencies

"Burnt Transparencies" is an alternative film technique inspired by Fine Art Photographer Blue Mitchell. Put simply, 35mm slides are heated with a flame and dipped in water. In these images, ice water was used creating some cracking and strange shapes.

The Shoe from Peru
